TBRN has a strong social community surrounding the station, calling itself “TBRN Socialites”, after the Allo group of the same name. There is also a TeamTalk server that belongs to the group and station.
What is Allo?
Allo, by Google, is a messenger for mobile devices that can be used for group and individual conversations. Its interface is friendly and its sound quality is superb. Many TBRN broadcasters and listeners use Allo to communicate off air, and most of those broadcasters and listeners participate in our public group of socialites.

What is TeamTalk?
TeamTalk is a server-side voice conferencing system older than TBRN itself. Now available for various platforms too numerous to list here, one can connect to a TeamTalk server and speak, live, to those there. Like Roger, the sound quality is outstanding.
A note to vision impaired users
TeamTalk for Windows requires you to install the “classic client for accessibility”, the option for which can be found in the TeamTalk installer. Mac users will find the interface challenging to use with Voiceover. If challenged by the Mac client, you may use one of the mobile versions. All of these versions are available from TeamTalk’s download page.
