A similar message to this was given by our owner, Andre Louis, on the Digital Domain for December 4, 2015. Since that time, however, we’ve seen some confusion as a result of a changing social strategy. This post, written by Derek Lane representing the TBRN staff, shall hopefully clarify things.
Life is a wild ride, taking us too and through things we may have never imagined at one point. The lives of TBRN, its broadcasters, listeners and friends are no exception. Having said that, TBRN is having a good one.
We’ve grown new shows, who embody the spirit of the Beyond Radio Network. We’ve seen positive feedback from people who have taken some of their valuable time to visit tbrn.net. We’ve seen more exposure as a result of our new approach to social media. As part of that effort, however, some of the contact methods to reach us have evolved. This is especially the case for twitter and Facebook as a result of our newly unified social media strategy.
Let’s face it, remembering [email protected] for some things, TBRNLive for others, TBRN for another thing, or knowing to add a rather interesting account to Facebook which only allowed communication with some of the shows, made for a rather confusing experience. It also was just about as pleasant to deal with as that previous run-on sentence…so something had to be done. That something was the simplification of contacting TBRN, and following it as well. This means that all actual text to/from us, and some voice communication can, and should, be done by adding TBRNLive on AIM, Twitter, Facebook, and Skype. Some of us may not like its sound, but we do like you, the listener.
We hope you are enjoying our expanded schedule, the new content in automation, and all of the means you have of being a part of the life, and current times, of TBRN.
