Welcome to a show where it began as a disaster, since a playlist was created prior to show time and well, things did not work out as planned. The show went on as expected and Treasure Island was today's Kids story. Hope you enjoy the story, as well as the music!
Today's show was a mixture of Reggae and 80s genre. We also had what I will refer to as a Depressing segment in which I played depressing songs. There is a reason I did this, and I encourage you to pay full attention as you listen to the show. Hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy the show.
Today's show started as a Bla but over the course it took some form of direction. We first had a mixture of music in both English and Spanish, followed by childrens' Easter songs and a story by Dr. Seus called Green eggs and Ham. We then ended with a mini tribute to Selena Quintanilla who was taken from us on March 31, 1995. I hope you enjoy today's show!
Today was part 2 of the 80s 90s party show. Non-stop music was played including lots of favorites that may bring back memories. I hope you enjoy today's show!
What an awesome three hours it was today! we got to test out numerous items relating to my broadcasting, such as audio enhancements, as well as a Rode NT1A microphone. It was an 80s' 90s' party show with less voice breaks. Hope you enjoy the show!
Welcome to today's Melting Pot, where windy conditions, new creations and a podcast featuring Android Vs. iOS, Experiences and Security Vulnerabilities was the main event. If you have any questions or wish to submit feedback upon listening to the mentioned segment you can send e-mail to: Jared Rimer, or Armando Maldonado. I hope you enjoy the show and feedback is definitely appreciated in regards to the podcast.
Welcome to today's Melting Pot, where we featured an artist for the first time on this show. The artist is from Miami, Fla., but his native roots are of lima, Peru. Tony succar was the starr of the show, as I have played a track back in October of 2017. His music can be found at the following address: Tony Succar At the time of this show, there is only one album available on CD Baby. eMusic did have an album but is no longer available. You can also find other albums and singles by Tony Succar on amazon.com, as well as on Apple Music. Today's featured album was,"Unity_ The Latin Tribute to Michael Jackson (Live Concert Special)" In addition, we had our usual weekly happenings and the show was done in Magnatune and Independent Artist format. Hope you enjoy today's archive!
Today's sleepless Melting Pot consisted of your typical music, I give my thoughts on the recent florida School shooting, as well as feature songs that are popular in English, but were played in spanish such as Achy Breaky Heart, Old Time Rock and Roll, Chatahooche and The Devil went Down to Georgia, all by Caballo Dorado. We also honored some requests and a good time was had. Hope you enjoy today's show!
Lots of craziness happened on this show. We had several On Air segments. In one of them segments. Nick from The Digital Domain Online Radio Show informs me that we on teamTalk were echoing severely, and thanks to his participation, I was able to rectify the situation in a timely fashion. I also talked about a certain Amazon device I purchased and how I plan on incorporating this in my daily life. California cannot seem to make up its mind and thus, I am having a bit of a sore throat. Can I survive today's show? Hope you enjoy today's Melting Pot and Thanks to Laura, Venison from The Venison Stew Show and Nick from The Digital Domain Online Radio Show for a fun time on TeamTalk!
Broken femurs, uncertainties of ski conditions since snow was mud, race rallies and so much more was talked about in today's Melting Pot. We begin the show with a dedication to those who rode in the car with me to and from tahoe Donner Ski Area, with a Beach boys' song called "Kokomo", and ended with The Beatles, "The Long And Winding Road", dedicated to a friend of mine, Norma. In addition, the 2018 Ski for Light Audio Montage was played in which you the listener will get some sort of a sneak peek as to what can happen in a Ski for Light week of fun. I hope you all enjoy the show and for information about Ski for Light, please visit: www.sfl.org.
Due to unforseen power outage that occurred on January 18, 2018, The Melting Pot was aired on January 19 at a special time. Thus, 18 theme songs were played. in remembrance of said segment. The corresponding theme songs are as folowed, with the year the show was aired on TV: Skinamarink- 1986 Ducktales- 1987 21 Jump Street- 1987 Alf- 1986 Cheers- 1982 Garfield & Friends- 1988 Fraggle Rock- 1983 Golden Girls- 1985 Happy Days- 1974 He-Man and the Masters of the Universe- 1983 Inspector Gadget- 1983 Married With Children- 1987 Night Court- 1984 Pee-wee's Playhouse- 1986 Saved By the Bell- 1989 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-- 1984 The Simpsons- 1989 Who's The Boss- 1984 I hope you all enjoy the show, and I hope to see you on February 1, 2018, as I will be on a Ski Trip for a week.
Being the only one who is English-speaking in the household can present its rewards and challenges. Thus, there was no show on January 11, 2018. However a makeup show was done the following day and new listeners came to join me. In particular, we had a Spanish playlist, contributed by one of the new listeners, Camille from Richmond, Ca who took the time to collaborate with me in finding which songs to play for the show. I hope you enjoy the Spanish set, as well as all of the music played for this show.
Happy New Year to each and every one of you. I happened to have a bad night, which meant there was no show on January 4. Thus, I made up for this by doing a makeup show. Hope you all enjoy and hope to be back on my normal scheduled time next week.
It's the Finale of Melting Pot for 2017. How The Grinch Stole Christmas, along with Twuz The Night before Christmas were the highlight of stories. Christmas favorites, along with a mini on air segment, six children who made a Christmas ID for TBRN made for an impressive show. Feliz Navidad, y Prospero Año Nuevo to each and every one of you listeners. I hope to return on January 4, 2018!
After some technical difficulties, the Christmas A Capella started off with no issues. Tunes from artists such as Straight No Chaser, Roccapella, Take6 and others were played, along with a Gospel section. Hope you all enjoy and sorry if my mike sounds a bit too loud. I guess more work needs to be done in order to adjust.
Mr. Mackie came to invade Part 2 of The A Capella Melting Pot. Now who's Mr. Mackie you may ask? How about you take a listen to find out. In addition, hits like bohemian Rapsody, Gangster's Paradise and others were played. Hope you enjoy today's show!
Welcome back to another edition of The Melting Pot. In this show, we primarily focus on A Capella music, including a request by an artist called Seminaarimäen Mieslaulajat. We begin today's Pre-Thanksgiving show with a Memorial Tribute to those who died during a recent Rampage that occurred in a small town/reservation called Rancho Tehama, loacated about 23 miles northwest of Corning, Ca, where DJ Mando resides. Six people died as a result, and at least ten people including children were injured. The usual music and talk segments were featured, as well as, a childrens' segment, dedicated to Alliyah, my now six-year-old niece who had a burthday yesterday. We play some of her favorite tunes like Frozen's Let it Go, Lego's Everything Is Awesome, Perry Gripp's It's raining Tacos, a story called Sparky and His Magic Piano. Happy Thanksgiving and may you all be blessed.
PC issues plagued my show start time. My pc's default sound card decided it was not going to give me sound ten minutes prior to scheduled show time. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy today's programming, and Happy Veterans' day to each and every one of you and thanks to those who gave their lives and fought for our freedom.
Today's show was a 70's theme. In addition, I talk about my experience with a Kewrig K55 Single-serve coffee machine and how much I am fully enjoying this. The internet did cooperate so it turned out to be a successful show. Hope you enjoy today's program!

Today was a makeup show as I was sick during mormal day/show time. October has brought interesting things to me, from colds and congestion to The Sky Beam setting me up with stable home internet. Nevertheless, hope you all enjoy the show!
Today's show was sorta under the weather, as DJ Mando may be getting sick due to constant weather changes. Nevertheless, the show went on and it was enjoyable. Weekly happendings along with a variety of music and Aladdin Story Time was debuted in today's show. Hope you all enjoy.
We begin today's show with a mini memorial service, by remembering those who parished during the October 2, 2017 Las Vegas Massacre. I accidentally screwed up on the date since I too was emotionally choked up and was at a loss for words. Immediately after the memorial, we honor Tom Petty, who passed away on October 3, 2017. I then talk about my week and my recent iPhone 8 Plus purchase and why I went with what I got. Hope you all enjoy the show.
Today's show was a mixture of fun, randomness, unsensored commedy and much more. We covered a wide variety of genres, from 1954 to 2014. Hope you enjoy the Spontaneous WINNIE THE POOH edition of the melting Pot!
The show had a late start as DJ Mando was using a different pc due to original broadcasting pc visiting the PC Doctor last week. Nevertheless, we had music genres ranging from years 1958, 1963, 1972, 1984 and 2000. Hope you enjoy the show as something unexpectedly happened during DJ Mando's short time off.
Today's show consisted of nothing more than upbeat Spanish dancing music. DJ Mando still has some internet trouble and explains exactly what happened during Labor Day weekend. Hope you enjoy the show and for those affected by Hurricane Irma, please stay safe.
Today was a Smokey/Somber Show, why do you ask? Well, in Northern California, we have had two fires which in turn has made the air quality poor. In addition, Skybeam, my hopefully new internet provider has been working dilligently to get me up and going with their service and thus, it has created a bit of sadness and stress on my end. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the show and a special shoutout to the folks at skybeam for graciously working with me in getting the service up. Hopefully next week, we will be dialed in.
The Melting Pot took a month-long hiatus due to various reasons including the loss of an ID at Sacramento Airport. Nevertheless, I share some of my trip adventures that I recorded, including great customer service I experienced when visiting Seattle Tacoma Airport (SEATAC). I also attended the 2017 Missouri State Fair that was held in Sedalia, MO and recorded my family's impressions of the fair. Hope you all enjoy the show.
This is the final show for July, as I will be on vacation for the next two weeks. We kicked the show off with an English vs. Spanish song titled, "Love Hurts", by Nazareth, followed by grupo Yndio. The playlist had a mixture of songs from the 70s' 80s' as well as the 90s'. Hope you all enjoy the show and we will hopefully see you on August 3, 2017.
The show began with chaos, as both UPS along with AT&T showed up to invade DJ Mando's home. in addition mom asks DJ Mando to do some online stuff at last minute. Nevertheless, it was a hot/cool Melting Pot show featuring tunes from years 1982, 1986 and 1995, along with a nine-song set of Acapella. Note, there will not be a show on the weeks of July 20 and 27, due to prior commitments. Hope to return on August 3.
In this Cooldown eedition of The Melting Pot, we play 1982 and 1986 songs. In addition, we also reflect on dJ Mando's childhood, specifically on TV shows he grew up with such as Happy Days, Ghost Busters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and his favorite, Bad Boys, a theme song from Cops. The theme aspect got popular, we did round 2. Hope you all enjoy.

It is hot in Northern Rural California but nevertheless, The Melting Pot brings you a 2002 edition for today's show, We were suppose to have a special guest or two however, the studio was too hot. The Melting Pot debuts a brand-new Yamaha MG12XU mixer that is paired to a Tascam 4x4 in the style of 1989. Despite the attempt to bring folks on air, the mixer and USB interface performed well. It is hope that by nex show time, the kinks will be worked out in order to avoid echo feedback when having someone joining DJ Mando on TeamTalk. The show featured 1989 hits, upon one of management team members having a birthday this past Sunday, June 4th. Hope you all enjoy the show.
After two weeks of being on hiatus due to death in the family. I return with the year 1990. I explain what's been going on, as well as feature an adult story called Jaws For Windows Is A Murderer. Listener discression is advised and I hope you enjoy the podcast.

We feature hits like Girls Just Want To Have Fun by Cindy Lopper, Ghost Busters by Ray Parker JR, a comparison of Elton John vs. Taron Egerten with a song called I'm Still Standing. Both songs are excellent, thus, it was hard for me to decide which version was best. Hope you all enjoy the show and look forward to Part 2 of Totally 80s' in the style of Melting Pot.

In this 2nd edition of The Melting Pot, We continue our wild 3-hour musical journey. We begin by finding out that his friend, Quameisha arrives in a fixed-up 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 to do her announcing job for the show, since her Honda Gold wing Motorcycle broke down on the way back from last week's festivities. Rembrandts surprised us with an opening song from a show called Friends, I'll Be There For You. More surprises came to us in the form of a few Twitter followers who informed DJ Mando that they were joining the fun. In addition, his older brother, Tony, along with his crew from a local Rent-a-center were tuned into the show via an app called Tunein Radio and requested a few songs. DJ Mando got so carried away, he made a special set for Tony to enjoy. Some of the artists and songs that were played include: Pearl Jamm- The Last Kiss, Los Tigres del Norte- Golpes En El Corrazon and Industria del amor- Suspirar. We ended the show with an announcement pertaining to next week's show. Please stay tuned to Twitter, Facebook and/or text message, since dJ mando turns a year older on May 4, 2017 and may not be hitting the airways. If however The Melting Pot does happen, we will focus primarily on the year 1981, since it's the year dJ Mando was born.
In this Debut of The Melting Pot. DJ Mando takes you on a Scenic 3-hour Musical journey. We begin by having Michael Buffer wake up his friend, Quameisha since she was in her own little world and forgot she had to introduce DJ Mando, You hear a motorcycle race up to the podium and she's out of breath as she announces. DJ Mando lands on an airplane and opens up upon visiting Corpus Christi, TX and was able to retrieve an archive of Selena and opens the show with a Medley. He then takes you all around the world, from Mexico to Korea and plays different style of music to entertain the audience. Throughout the show, he acknowledges his nieces, Aliyah and Alexxyia, along with his friend, Quameisha for creating his show IDs and intro.
